Mannson operate import and export consolidation (LCL) services by sea freight from / to many locations globally. We can also offer a wide range of additional in house value added products such as air freight, Full container import and export (FCL), Customs clearance, warehousing, European and UK transport.

Stuart Crowder

Stuart has been with Mannson Freight since May 2002, initially in the capacity as sales and development manager. Stuart's role within the business developed due to his strong skills in business and talent management as well as his ever growing portfolio of clients. Stuart worked for some of the worlds largest forwarders and consolidators before coming to Mannson Freight and he has a great drive and determination to keep the business moving forward. Stuart has a meticulous eye for detail and it is his ethos of customer service excellence, honesty and professionalism that drives the rest of the team at Mannson Freight.

James Hardy

James has worked in the freight industry for nearly 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge of all aspects of shipping and consolidation. James organizational skills and talent for procuring the best rates, services and partners for our business are one of the driving factors in our recent successes. Many of our current services and procedures have James DNA and he has underpinned our high level of service excellence by streamlining how our staff and the business operates. Outside of work James is an avid Cricketer and a big Ipswich Fan.

Suzanne Weston

Suzanne runs our busy finance team and keeps the business ticking over smoothly. She has streamlined many of our accounts procedures and dedicated herself to making sure the company coffers are in a great position. Suzanne’s diligence and tireless work rate are essential to the business and she is on a great trajectory with us. Suzanne has ambitions to always learn new key skills and systems to keep herself and Mannson freight moving forward and at the cutting edge. Suzanne was once a supreme county and national level athlete and still runs a mean 800m.

Kerry Perkins

Kerry is our longest serving member of staff after our MD and has a wonderful knowledge of all aspects of freight forwarding as well as a great personal touch with her client’s and a tireless work rate. Kerry has established strong relationships with many of the businesses oldest and most loyal client’s and gives them the red carpet service that they deserve. Kerry also holds other key roles in the business as diverse as health and safety officer to key telecommunications expert and is a very pivotal part of our team. Kerry is a motorsport fanatic, particularly following F1 and also gives up a lot of her time to help with youth work and other volunteer activities.

Charlie Hall

Charlie has been working at Mannson Freight since leaving school and has developed a fine set of skills in all aspects of the business at the same time as always working with our Ethos of great customer service. Charlie heads up our operational teams, resolves client, agent and supplier issues and queries and is always happy to jump back in the hot seat and assist operationally within her teams. Charlie is an important part of our commercial strategy and development team and we see great things for her in the future at Mannson Freight.

Should I insure my goods when shipping?

A: Firstly check if your current insurance covers goods in transit. If not then we would always recommend insuring goods with us. Our insurance is underwritten by CNA who are one of the worlds largest insurers and for a small premium your goods will be covered door to door. If you chose not to insure then you are taking a small risk, however the premiums for insurance are so small in relation to the value of the goods you are shipping that it is worth paying for insurance in most cases. Contact sales@mannson.com for an insurance price, we can even insure goods that are not being shipped with us.
